Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development team at Victor Insurance UK. This role is a Hybrid role based at home with a requirement to travel to Brokers in the South of England including London, so looking for a candidate based or willing to relocate to that region. Victor UK is seeking a Senior B2B Business Development Manager. This role could suit either someone with previous Insurance Business Development experience or an insurance professional looking to develop their career further within a Business Development role. Victor and its businesses operate as a Managing General Agency (MGA), offering a wide range of property, liability, motor, and specialty insurance products in the UK. Victor Insurance is part of Marsh and McLennan Companies (MMC), a global network of experts in risk, strategy, and people. For over 140 years, MMC has supported enterprises in realizing, surviving, and growing through changing times. Responsibilities
Develop, agree, and manage individual yearly account plans and sales pipelines to achieve sales strategy, results, and targets. B2B business development with existing and new clients to develop and maintain relationships. Manage the efficient delivery of account plans to ensure Victor UK delivers the required service and performance in line with the sales strategy. Identify new broker account opportunities to grow the region. Build and maintain relationships within assigned intermediary organizations to ensure continued growth and profitability. Ensure that best practice standards are applied at all times and meet all compliance, legal, and regulatory standards. Manage profitable broker relationships in London and South-East England, focusing on revenue growth from new business opportunities. Generate revenue from an allocated panel of insurance intermediary accounts by securing new and renewal business. Prioritize the fair treatment of customers. Reassess operational risks continually, considering economic, legal, regulatory, and technological changes. Requirements
Experience in a broker environment delivering risk/service products. Understanding of general insurance products. Ability to influence senior colleagues and communicate effectively internally and externally. Proven sales and development skills to grow revenues. Knowledge of selling to regional brokers. Valid driver’s license for broker visits. Preferred Qualities
Entrepreneurial mindset for strategic relationship building. Proficiency in business planning and MI analysis. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Proactive approach and initiative-taking ability. Understanding of broker revenue models and a consultative approach to sales. Why Join Us
