We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Site Training Validator to ensure the quality and effectiveness of operational training across the site.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining high training standards, supporting audit readiness and ensuring that training delivered aligns with Health & Safety, Critical Control Points (CCPs) and site priorities. Working closely with operational trainers, technical teams and site leadership, you will validate training through observation, questioning and coaching, helping to embed safe, compliant and effective ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
Validate operational training delivered by trainers and technical teams using structured observations, questioning and coaching techniques
Ensure training meets site standards, SOPs, work instructions and due diligence requirements
Maintain an audit-ready training environment at all times
Raise concerns regarding training quality, behaviours or performance with individuals and line managers
Follow weekly work plans set by the Site Training Lead, prioritising Health & Safety high-risk activities and CCPs
Support site audits when required
Assist with employee welcome and induction where needed
Create and maintain observation assessments and contribute to a central bank of training materials
Ensure all training records, evidence and resources are completed accurately, signed and dated
Update the Learning Management System (LMS) daily
Advise on the creation and improvement of job-specific SOPs for training purposes
Identify and escalate inaccuracies in SOPs or work instructions to SMEs and key stakeholders
Work closely with operational teams, technical SMEs and key stakeholders
Ensure operational changes are communicated and reflected in training documentation
Provide clear feedback and guidance to support continuous improvement
Measures of Success

Timely identification and resolution of training gaps or risks
Strong collaboration with site stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Essential
Ability to conduct focused, effective training observations
Strong questioning techniques to assess knowledge and understanding
Confident communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
Ability to challenge poor behaviours and performance, including escalation where required
Strong coaching capability
Experience working with LMS or training systems
Ability to work to agreed plans and priorities
Desirable
Experience creating structured training and assessment documentation
Training facilitation experience
Recognised training qualification
