Job Description
My client, a packing company based in Worcestershire is looking to recruit a Flexographic Packaging Print Operator on a Temp to Perm basis
The main responsibilities associated with the role include
* Setting up and printing high quality designs up to 8 colours onto Flexible plastic substrates and paper
* Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy and productivity to ensure efficient day to day running of wide web flexographic printing press
* Ensure press speeds are optimized, maximizing uptime and minimizing downtime, continually checking on safe and efficient operation
* Report issues to the Quality department that may affect output throughout the shift
* Maintain good housekeeping on the press and surrounding areas 5S auditing
* Maintain stock levels of all necessary materials to fulfil the shift efficiently
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
* Previous experience of flexographic print
* Knowledge of Lamination and Slitting process
* Experience of mounting process
* Manage and deal with change in a fast moving and demanding environment whilst still maintaining standards set within the business
* Ability to work as a team as well as on own initiative and contribute to the continuous improvement activity
