Overview
This is a senior, high-profile leadership role with real influence. You will:
* Lead and inspire a team of Industry Engagement Consultants and Apprenticeship Advisers
* Build and manage strategic partnerships with employers and key stakeholders
* Drive apprenticeship recruitment, commercial income, externally funded projects, and mandatory work placements
* Represent the College at regional events, employer forums, and sector networks
* Use labour market insight to influence curriculum development and future provision
* Lead a results‑driven Industry Engagement team
* Manage high‑value employer relationships across priority sectors
* Support apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps, commercial training, full‑time students and T‑Levels
* Ensure excellent employer and learner experiences
* Use CRM and data systems to track performance and impact
* Work collaboratively across the College to deliver employer‑led solutions
Requirements
* Strong B2B commercial and partnership development experience
* Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver results
* Confidence working at senior and board level
* Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship‑building skills
* Drive, ambition, and a passion for education, skills, and economic growth
* Experience in apprenticeships, training, or education is desirable – but commercial leadership and employer engagement expertise are essential
