Lecturer in Engineering – Hampshire
Salary: £33,367-£44,365 per annum (Unqualified: £26,436-£33,367). Pension: Enrolment into the Teachers' Pension Scheme.
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (Part time/job share considered).
Contract: Permanent.
Role
* Teach and assess Engineering courses to provide an inspirational experience for all learner groups.
* Deliver engaging sessions with a focus on theoretical units and vocational programmes.
* Support student progress through robust tracking, marking, and constructive feedback.
* Facilitate pastoral support and safeguarding to ensure the best outcomes and progression for every student.
* Contribute to curriculum design, development, and the creation of high-quality learning resources.
Requirements
* Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area.
* Appropriate teacher training qualification (or working towards one).
* Strong technical knowledge of engineering, with the ability to deliver vocational units.
* Excellent teaching skills and a commitment to meeting the needs of individual students.
* Flexibility, resilience, and a highly organised approach to education.
