Job Description Title: Accounts Payable Clerk, Vendor Master Data Type: Full Time Time: Permanent Location: Glasgow Working Pattern: 2 days working from the office, 3 days remote Department: Finance - Purchase to Pay Key Responsibilities : Creating, updating, and maintaining vendor master data within the finance system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Coordinating with the Procurement team to achieve timely and accurate onboarding of new vendors. Reviewing and validating data change requests within the vendor master database. Monitoring the team inbox, prioritising and responding to incoming requests from both internal stakeholders and external vendors in accordance with established Service Level Agreements. Working closely with internal teams and external vendors to address vendor data queries and maintain an efficient, seamless process. Collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Providing support during audits and assisting with any enquiries related to Accounts Payable. Any other duties considered reasonable. Essential Skills & Experience : Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Positive, proactive attitude with a “can-do” approach. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Strong numeracy skills. Knowledge of VAT regulations. Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or finance administration role, including use of financial management systems (ideally Elite 3E).
