Casualty Solicitor - Liverpool - Hybrid - up to £45,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded Casualty team, recognised for delivering expert defendant litigation services across employers’ liability, public liability, and product liability matters. The team acts for a broad client base including insurers, insured businesses, and public sector organisations, offering exposure to high-quality and complex work. With a strong national presence and specialist fraud capabilities, this is an environment where junior solicitors can gain exceptional experience and long-term career development.
You will manage your own caseload of fast and multi-track litigated claims while supporting senior lawyers on more complex matters. The role offers exposure to a wide range of EL/PL cases, alongside the opportunity to develop a specialism in occupational stress claims.
Responsibilities include handling liability and quantum issues, managing large-scale disclosure exercises, drafting key legal documents, attending client meetings and court hearings, and liaising with Counsel and experts. This is a fantastic opportunity to build strong client relationships and develop your technical expertise within a supportive and ambitious team.
The Candidate
* Solicitor with NQ + experience
* Experience of managing own caseload of EL/PL claims
* Litigation experience is essential
* Prioritise and manage a varied caseload
* Excellent organisation and time-management skills
* Excellent client care skills
