Working Arrangement: You will be required to work locally on a daily basis, 5 days a week - essential
Enhanced DBS is required - essential
Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes on a daily basis - essential
The role:
On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Housing Support & Inclusion Officer to support households to remain in their own homes and proactively prevent homelessness. You will be required to work locally on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist households who are homeless and living in temporary or emergency accommodation to secure a longer-term housing solution.
* Work within a team to find creative and sustainable housing options for customers.
* Support the team in delivering a responsive front-line duty service.
* Support customers in various tenure types including the private sector, social housing, and family arrangements.
* Deliver support in community settings including customers’ homes.
* Empower customers to live independently and sustain their accommodation.
* Work with vulnerable people with diverse needs that may impact their ability to sustain housing.
* Collaborate with partner agencies to implement holistic support packages tailored to household needs.
