Administrator Sales Support

Part Time 29hrs / week

£30-36k + pension

Location: Croydon, SM6 postcode area

Sales Administration job in a business-to-business mechanical engineering company.

1. Process sales orders and quotes for service calls and parts/spares.
2. Process timesheets of service engineers.
3. Log supplier invoices onto the system.
4. Liaise with colleagues in accounts to raise sales and purchase invoices.
5. Working hours: Monday to Friday, on-site in the office (no home working). 8.30am-3.00pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-2.00pm Fridays.

Salary for 29 hours is £28,000-30,000, roughly equivalent to £35,000 full-time. Benefits include a 9% pension (6% employer, 3% employee), healthcare scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and more.


This Administrator Sales Support role will suit:

* An administrator who enjoys a fast-paced sales support environment and updating the administration system daily for repairs and parts orders.
* A friendly communicator capable of assisting customers over the phone.
* Someone confident with computerized admin systems, possibly including ERP systems like Navision or SAP.


Detailed duties:

* Communicate daily with internal/external customers such as Sales Managers, Service Engineers, and end customers via phone and email.
* Analyze incoming requests, identify anomalies, and respond promptly with relevant information.
* Address customer questions and issues, ensuring understanding of specific requirements and product features.
* Prepare and check initial quotations following discount policies and Sales Manager guidance, ensuring accuracy of part numbers and quantities.
* Submit quotations to customers, enabling follow-up by Sales Managers as needed.
* Process customer purchase orders in the local ERP system.
* Communicate changes to dispatch/warehouse regarding customer orders.
