Due to expansion my prestigious client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing team, reporting to the Business Analyst Team Leader.
Detailed duties and responsibilities
* Communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a project
* Liaising with business managers and end users to understand and document business processes, workflows and requirements
* Facilitate business managers and end users undertaking BPI/BPR activities
* Appraising the impact of suggested changes on affected business area
* Ability to translate business requirements into something that can be understood at all levels of a project from end users to software developers
* Translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs
* Planning and managing the implementation of small scale projects
* Planning and managing the implementation of agile application developments
* Ensuring business solutions are aligned with the IS Business Strategy
* Undertake the production of business cases and feasibility studies
* Providing weekly reports to the Business Analysis Team Leader showing progress against outstanding milestones.
* Develop and maintain knowledge on best of breed business analysis standards, tools, methods and techniques
Technical skills
* Workshop facilitation
* Process/workflow mapping
* BPMN
Skills, knowledge and experience
* Knowledge of the legal sector
* Experience with a case management system
* Experience of an agile software development methodology
* BCS Diploma in Business Analysis desirable
