We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head Dental Nurse to join our dedicated team and help lead our clinical support staff to new heights of efficiency and excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and support the dental nursing team, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and patient care. Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures. Ensure all patient records are accurately updated and maintained. Manage and monitor stock levels of dental materials and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Support with staff training and development, ensuring compliance with continuing education requirements. Ensure all clinical areas meet health and safety standards. Assist with patient care and provide reassurance and comfort before, during, and after dental procedures. Help manage appointment scheduling and ensure patient flow runs smoothly. Requirements: Qualified Dental Nurse with a valid GDC (General Dental Council) registration. Proven experience in a dental nursing role, with a strong understanding of clinical procedures. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
