We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forest School Lead to join a specialist Pupil Referral Unit in the Burton area. This is a unique opportunity to develop and deliver an engaging, therapeutic forest school programme that supports the personal development, wellbeing, and re-engagement of pupils with complex SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.
About the Role:
As the Forest School Lead, you will:

Design and lead outdoor learning sessions tailored to individual needs

Support the emotional, social and behavioural development of pupils
*
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams
*
Promote resilience, self-esteem and independence through nature-based learning
*
Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing outdoor learning environment
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:

A qualified Forest School Leader (Level 3 or equivalent)
*
Experienced in working with children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour
*
Passionate about the benefits of outdoor education
*
