Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Egham, Surrey

We are recruiting on behalf of a brand new independent small animal practice in Egham, Surrey for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team. This role is full or part time with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
This is an exciting time to join this practice as it has recently opened and offers the opportunity for a Vet to be a valued part of its growth and development.
For those who perhaps are looking to relocate, then there is accommodation above the practice which would be made available until the Vet finds their permanent home.
Currently within the practice there is 1 Full time Vet who is the practice owner and alongside them there are two RVNS, 2 PCAs, 1 SVN and 2 receptionists. Whilst there is some sole charge work involved there is always ongoing support from the Vet owner who is on site.
Whilst the practice are open to various levels of experience, due to the nature of the role the Vet would need to be confident in routine consultations and surgeries.
The role does come with ongoing career development opportunities. Special interests would be encouraged and supported. Investment would be made in the right equipment to support areas of interest and specialism.
Currently the practice are equipped with the toys that you would expect including IDEXX Lab, Ultrasound and Digital X-ray. There are ongoing investment plans for equipment coming in the future including an onsite CT scanner.
The role offers the opportunity for ongoing career progression with areas of special interest supported and funding for a certificate.
The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

About you
13. They are looking for a vet with an experience level whereby they are comfortable with routine consultations, surgeries and some sole charge.
14. They Vet will be a team player and be able to establish client and work relationships easily.
15. The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills. They will be able to build rapport and strong client relationships.
16. An advantage would be a Vet who would like to focus on a specialism.

17. Salary: Up to £60, pro rata, commensurate to experience
