Job Title: Corporate Account Executive Location: Midlands Overview: A well-established insurance brokerage is seeking a Corporate Account Executive to manage a high-value portfolio of commercial clients across the Midlands region. This hybrid role requires one day per week in the office, with the remainder of time spent meeting clients across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with a portfolio generating approximately £800k in gross written premium (GWP), covering around 10–12 key clients. With an income range of £25k–£250k per client (averaging £50k), the role offers both autonomy and opportunity for strategic growth. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and grow a portfolio of 10–12 corporate clients with an approximate GWP of £800k. Drive portfolio growth through a combination of renewals and cross-selling Act as a trusted client advisor, developing long-term strategic relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions. Conduct regular in-person client meetings across the Midlands, ensuring face-to-face relationship management. Collaborate with account handlers and wider colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery and client satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, governance, and internal standards. Contribute to a supportive and ambitious team of 34 professionals. Key Requirements: 4–5 years’ experience in a commercial or corporate insurance role, with direct client-facing exposure.Strong cross-class knowledge.Demonstrated ability to manage and grow income streams through proactive client engagement.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands.A consultative, client-first approach with commercial awareness.
