St Margaret’s Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Advice Line team in either Taunton or Yeovil. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £32,413 per annum plus 18% unsocial hours enhancement. Based within the Advice Line team, you will play a key role in supporting end-of-life patients and their families in Somerset. Taking a variety of calls, you will triage each one to help provide essential care and symptom control to those suffering with life limiting illnesses within their own homes. Calls received are from a variety of sources, including health care professionals, and can be for symptom control management, emotional or psychological and carer support. Supporting patients and their families, you will signpost them to appropriate services which are tailored to their needs. You will work alongside the advice line team, community nurse specialists and other members of the multidisciplinary team. The advice line shifts are 7am - 3pm, 9am - 5pm and 4pm – midnight. Weekend and bank holiday working is essential to this post. There may be opportunity for remote working dependent on home location and IT set up, following induction and completion of the agreed probation period.
