You will liaise closely with General Manager, who has a positive and proactive approach to HSE, and site leadership team to continue to motivate and support the Health, Safety and Environment needs of the site.Vacancy overviewBe the site manager, for all Health, Safety and Environment requirements and offer proactive/ practical support, solutions and advice for the Blunham site but also covering an additional small site 2 days per month ( flexible to your diary)Exposure to a range of exciting projects where you will have creative control and the opportunity to put your own stamp on them.Promote and develop an independent culture where everyone is accountable for HSEDevelop, coach and mentor the workforce to ensure understanding, competence and compliance of HSEAble to liaise with relevant stakeholders, sites within the wider group, insurers and external regulatory bodiesEnsure all accidents, incidents, near misses and property damage are appropriately reported and investigated whilst encouraging the management team to continually improve safety targets.Ensure that the site is compliant with all current legislative requirements and is future fitEncourage the innovation of new processes and procedures to ensure continued development of on-site safety programmes.Manage and support ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 and support the alignment of ISO 45001 standardsSupport the senior leadership team in developing the annual HSE plan and implement on siteManage the internal and external audit schedule for the siteEssential experience, personality traits and qualifications:Fast paced manufacturing and machinery experienceNEBOSH Certificate as a minimum requirementExperience supporting ISO 14001 and alignment to ISO 45001Proven to support and improve cultural and behavioural changeAble to influence, gain buy -in with strong communication skillsChange management experienceStrong coach and mentorSelf-motivated and engagingHands on and practical approachInterested?
