The Role As SENCO, you will: Lead and manage the school's SEND provision. Identify and support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies. Ensure EHCPs and support plans are implemented effectively. Monitor pupil progress and promote inclusive teaching practices. Provide guidance and training to staff on SEND strategies and interventions. Ensure the school remains compliant with SEND legislation and best practice. The Ideal Candidate Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or is willing to work towards it. Has previous experience working as a SENCO or within SEND leadership. Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills. Is passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for all pupils.
