We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Wakefield looking for an English Teacher to join their team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a supportive department where creativity is encouraged, ideas are shared, and staff wellbeing actually matters.

The role
You’ll be teaching English across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that spark confidence, curiosity, and plenty of lively classroom discussion. Think less ticking boxes, more inspiring students to find their voice.

We’re looking for someone who
* Holds UK QTS or equivalent
* Has experience teaching English in a secondary setting
* Can plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
* Builds strong relationships with students and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
