About the role
As Service Leader you will ensure effective and efficient cover of staff rotas through the recruitment, induction and management of staff, relief, and agency workers. You will also work with the Contracts & Performance Manager to secure funding streams and develop business opportunities. You will contribute to communication, fundraising, volunteering, and value for money strategies.
Key responsibilities
* Recruit, induct and manage staff, provide relief and manage agency workers.
* Ensure achievement of service targets.
* Identify and secure new funding streams and business opportunities.
* Maintain excellent working relationships with partners and commissioners.
* Contribute to communications, fundraising, volunteering and value for money strategies.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience in a residential or institutional sector in a leadership capacity.
* Management level or professional qualification.
* Previous training and experience in social care, management, housing.
* Experience working with those experiencing homelessness or complex needs is beneficial.
* Line management responsibilities, financial authorisation, on call responsibilities require enhanced clearance and a full driver’s licence.
