About the role
We are hiring an experienced Product Manager who will be a key member of the Global Commercial team with responsibility for building and executing the go-to-market (GTM) plan for IonOpticks entire product portfolio.
What you will be doing
The Product Manager is expected to act as a consultant and product expert for IonOpticks’ products and be at the heart of all aspects of product sales and marketing strategy globally, as well as supporting product life cycle management, competitor landscaping, planning for and being the Voice of Customer (VoC) in determining the future direction on the product portfolio translating the requirements to R&D. There is a requirement to travel 30-50% of the time (national and international)
You will be responsible for
* Ownership of the GTM process in each key region and segment to ensure IonOpticks product sales, direct and indirect drive significant revenue growth and take competitive market share
* Lead the GTM launch of all new IonOpticks’ solutions, including training for internal stakeholders and generation of collateral for internal and external customers
* Building and activating the IonOpticks global product marketing plans:
* Take responsibility to define and drive the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion) and sales strategy to support the development of the marketing plans globally and in each key region.
* Lead the development of the sales toolbox including generation of peer-to-peer marketing pieces (case study, testimonial) and other product specific collateral
* Highlight specific products as per then current priorities at trade shows and support the execution of outbound marketing plans to deliver on sales and revenue goals
* Collaborate with IonOpticks global marketing functions for development of the company’s Product strategy
The skills & experience you’ll need for this job
* BSc/BA in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing.
* Proven track record of successes in multiple commercial environments across the life science or pharmaceutical markets
* Demonstrated success in the development of GTM plans for LC-MS or adjacent technologies.
* Proven ability to develop strong business cases
* Good working knowledge of the pharma drug discovery / CRO landscape
* Customer-facing experience with pharma and/or CRO’s is highly preferred
