Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Taplow for a Technical Account Manager. The Technical Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing technical expertise and guidance while ensuring satisfaction. Responsibilities include
* Support the completion of customer proposals with accurate technical specifications, BOMs, and product selections
* Develop and populate engineering job packs for production, including assembly and installation instructions, parts lists and quantities, and technical notes and constraints
* Ensure all required parts are correctly loaded to enable purchasing and stock planning
* Provide technical support and data for customer proposals, ensuring all specs are feasible and cost-effective
* Act as day-to-day technical liaison with operations and workshop teams to maintain high levels of quality and efficiency
* Resolve technical queries during build and installation phases
* Help support continuous improvement of internal processes and technical controls
* Develop and maintain quality control documentation in strict accordance with ISO and Automotive industry requirements
Experience
* Strong technical background with the ability to interpret and create technical documentation
* Experience working with BOMs, job packs, or structured production documentation
* Good working knowledge of electrical or electronic systems
* High attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred
* Automotive, commercial vehicle, or manufacturing background
* Experience in vehicle conversions, body building, or aftermarket installations
* Familiarity with ISO or quality management systems
