Key Responsibilities
As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will:
* Lead, manage, and support a team of Purchasing Coordinators
* Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to develop team capability
* Drive team performance, engagement, and continuous improvement
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews
* Handle escalated purchasing and supply chain issues
* Analyse and present procurement data, pricing, and performance insights
* Lead pricing reviews, cost-saving initiatives, and process improvements
* Ensure efficient and effective purchasing operations and supply chain processes
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in purchasing / procurement / supply chain roles
* Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
* Strong supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Excellent people management, coaching, and influencing skills
* Solid understanding of procurement processes and supply chain operations
* CIPS Level 4 qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
