Bank Hotel Services Assistant
Location: Oaklands Hospital, Salford
Hours: Flexible, zero-hour contract
The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Hotel Services Assistant to join our fantastic team at Oaklands Hospital. The successful candidate will work across the Housekeeping and Catering departments and will be responsible for cleaning of all general hospital areas including patient rooms and the service of food and beverages. In addition, assisting with maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hospital.
What is a Bank contract:
A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals. A Bank contract is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility, as it allows you to choose shifts that fit your availability, leaving you with a greater work-life balance. Bank contracts are also a fantastic way to secure additional income alongside other contracted work. Our Bank staff play a crucial role in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring that patient care remains uninterrupted.
Where you will be based:
Oaklands Hospital is a purpose built, modern hospital providing a wide range of surgical and medical treatments to private patients and eligible NHS patients. Our consultants and nursing staff are highly experienced and have your care and comfort as their highest priority.
What you'll bring with you:
1. Previous experience of housekeeping or food service duties
2. Experience within a hospital environment (desirable)
3. Methodical and vigilant personality
4. Excellent customer services skills
5. Ability to work on your own initiative
6. Good attention to detail to maintain our high standards
