The Opportunity In your role as Privacy Analyst you will help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by: Playing a crucial role in ensuring the privacy and data protection of our customers Working closely with cross-functional teams to assess, analyze, and implement privacy measures to maintain compliance with relevant data protection regulations and maintain the trust of our users This is a hybrid role based from either our Cambridge or London office. Ideally you will be comfortable coming into the office 2 -3 times per week. If you're interested in the role but require more flexibility, please speak to us Day to Day Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) to identify and mitigate privacy risks Develop, implement, and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other regional data protection laws Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data protection measures are integrated into the organization's systems and processes Monitor and report on privacy compliance and incident management, including data breaches Assist in responding to privacy-related inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders Stay current with emerging privacy and data protection trends and legislation to ensure the company's practices remain up to date Apply for job About you Must haves: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Privacy, Law, Information Security, Cybersecurity) or equivalent work experience Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other regional data protection laws Experience in conducting privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments Familiarity with privacy-enhancing technologies and best practices Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, and be confident at prioritisation Demonstrable skills building strong relationships with stakeholders Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and high attention to detail Great to haves: Relevant privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) are a plus Experience in the financial technology industry is preferred but not required Equal Opportunities Here at Featurespace we are committed to being a place of equality, inclusion and respect to provide a safe environment for you to bring your authentic self to work.
