Oxford College of Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as an AI and Data Science Teacher/Assessor. About the Role:
As an AI and Data Science Lecturer/Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training. Your key duties will include:
* Delivering engaging and effective lessons for Level 2, Level 3, and higher qualifications in AI, IT, and Data Science.
* Preparing, adapting, and tailoring teaching materials to meet awarding body standards.
* Conducting assessments, providing constructive feedback, and writing comprehensive assessor reports.
* Maintaining accurate student records, including attendance, marking, and progress reviews.
* Liaising with Internal and External Quality Assurers (IQA and EQA) to maintain high standards of delivery.
You will be instrumental in delivering key courses such as:
* Level 3 Diploma in Data Science
* Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT and Data Science
And other related programmes
Who You Are (Essential Requirements):
* Academic Background: A BSc degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or a closely related field.
* Teaching Credentials: A Level 3 Assessor Award (e.g., A1, CAVA, or equivalent).
* Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
* Safeguarding: A valid Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one immediately.
* Language Skills: Proficiency in English, demonstrated by a GCSE English at Grade 7 (or Grade A) or an IELTS score of 7.0 or equivalent.
* Personal Skills: Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities, coupled with strong communication skills.
