I am working with a London based corporate and commercial firm (which forms part of a wider professional services organisation), who are looking to hire their first Business Acceptance Manager.
The role reports into the firm's Head of Risk & Compliance.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing oversight across AML, onboarding and conflicts
* Effectively the “number two” to the Head of, someone who can take tasks off their plate and liaise with fee-earners confidently
* Lead on AML and broader client due diligence — AML expertise is the priority
* Oversight of conflicts (with the ability to step in and complete checks when needed)
* Full understanding of the end‑to‑end onboarding process
* Manage and support workload currently handled by one other staff member
Environment & Culture:
* Boutique, not corporate — family feel, smaller firm, different model to other mainstream law firms
* Suits someone autonomous, self-sufficient, and comfortable working independently
* 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday)
The ideal candidate will have had 3+ years in a UK law firm environment.
