Role Summary
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager based in one of these regions - Midlands, Leeds, Glasgow or Edingburgh to join our team and take ownership of our impressive portfolio within the North of the UK, driving success in the area through your own customers/region and the success of your team. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding the distribution, visibility and activation of our premium portfolio within targeted accounts across the area, and make a meaningful and real contribution to the overall On-Trade performance.
The role is home based, but it is expected that around 80% of your time will be spent in trade, visiting existing and new customers and being the “face” of Marussia across your region, and supporting your team, as part of a tight-knit team of 3 responsible for delivering the regional on-trade plan across the North. The required work hours to fulfil this role are Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, however flexibility will be required for evenings and weekends and travel time as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role. You must be based in a key city within the region and this role reports to the Sales Director.

Your Role & Responsibilities
· Line Management responsibility of 2 Key Account Managers – leading from the front and within the team, not from above it.
· Help inform the channel and brand strategy within IFT for your region and nationally.
· Manage an account base of new & existing IFT and regional groups (c.200+ locations) and local/regional RTM
· Journey plan in advance, visiting customers on appropriate cycle - 20+ customer visits/week
· Capture all aspects of daily activity and customer activity on Bowimi to ensure visibility
· Think commercially and have a strong grasp on territory and key customers to inform both volume and spend forecasts
· Deliver Commercial targets at brand level across your Business Unit
· Deliver Volume, Distribution, Visibility and Activation targets at brand level
· Key customers – “win with the winners” – ensuring we are working closely with key customers in your region who can help achieve our goals and targets through trading agreements
· New Business - regular prospecting in your area and working closely with RTM to achieve goals and targets through new customers
· Be passionate about our brands and in turn become an ambassador for our brands in your area
· Work in a fast-paced environment and react quickly where needed as well as meet monthly and quarterly deadlines
· Manage a broad workload – people management, large portfolio, multiple categories, various cities/areas, various RTM partners etc
· Be a team player and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply and Finance to ensure a joined-up approach to deliver our plans
Skills & qualifications
· Good computer skills with a strong working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office
· Must hold a valid UK driving license
· Proficient in the use of social media and its ability to support our plans
· Comfortable working with a CRM system – prior experience of Bowimi helpful

· Salary: Depends on experience
