Your new role:
The Desk Based Account Manager's job is to find the right solutions for customers, helping increase revenue, gain new customers, and improve profits. By planning well, managing time effectively, and using good sales techniques, the goal is to achieve sales and profit targets. This aligns with the main goals of the business in terms of products, channels, and markets.
The key responsibilities for the role include:
* Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
* To build customer relationships and grow sales in a way that is beneficial to both Hafele and its customer base for the long term.
* Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers using the digital media tools provided.
* Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
* Reach out to customer leads via digital methods.
* Quickly address and resolve customer problems and complaints to ensure maximum satisfaction.
* Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
* Analyse the area and market potential, track sales and status reports.
* Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities, and potential for new products and services.
* Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
* Continuously improve through feedback.
What you’ll need to succeed:
To be successful in this position you will:
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
* Familiarity with CRM practices.
* Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
* Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Prioritising time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs via digital media platforms.
* Relationship management skills, drive, initiative and enthusiasm.
* Good reporting and analytical skills.

This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact right from the start. It is full time, permanent, core hours of work are 8:45am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
