Part-time Housekeeper (20 hours, 12 months FTC maternity cover)

We are seeking an outstanding Housekeeper to support our resident care at Dene Brook, a specialist residential service in Rotherham that cares for people with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism and challenging behaviours. The role is part‑time, 20 hours per week (approximately 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 10‑2) on a 12‑month fixed‑term maternity cover contract.
As a Housekeeper you will help maintain a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the setting remains clean and welcoming for all residents. You will also support our staff in delivering person‑centred care and contribute to the overall wellbeing of our residents.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide general cleaning and housekeeping service
* Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
* Carry out daily and weekly cleaning regimes
* Replenish stock and keep equipment clean and well maintained
* Employ safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures
* Comply with COSHH regulations
Qualifications and experience:
* Experience in housekeeping or domestic work is desirable
* Knowledge of COSHH is desirable
* Friendly, conscientious and have a positive attitude
* Good communicator
