We are working closely with a business based in Northallerton who are looking for an Accounts Manager to join them on a full-time contract. Initially for 6 months, with the potential of turning permanent for the right person.
The business has recently undergone restructuring, and you will be the main point of contact for account queries, processing day-to-day finances, and assisting the wider team.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
1. Managing both Purchase and Sales Ledgers
2. Produce routine reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
3. Support reporting and information for key stakeholders
4. Credit control, including chasing and collecting monies due from customers
5. Other ad-hoc work as required to support the Finance function.
6. New customer set up and review of credit terms
7. Producing Customer invoices and credit notes
8. Be a point of contact for any finance queries
Skills and Experience:
9. Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
11. AAT or Accounting degree qualification – preferred
12. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other computer systems and databases
13. Ability to use initiative to organise themselves and others to ensure deadlines are met
14. A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively
