Finance Assistant- Lisburn- £30,000-£33,000 Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a reputable, fast moving and highly successful organisation, based in Lisburn. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is offering a competitive salary, and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced and successful accountancy. The successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following daily duties: If successful, you will be responsible to support various finance functions with a wide variety of accounting tasks for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and providing administrative support to the finance team. The overall purpose will be to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department. Key Responsibilities: Management and organisation of the finance and credit control inbox and filing of all communication in an organised and structured way. Posting all receivables transactions from the bank statement to the customer account and reconciliation. Resolve queries and investigate unallocated cash queries or payment discrepancies Preparing and processing the direct debit run every month alongside credit control Work closely with the Credit Control in order to maintain up to date customer accounts and monitor customer accounts and chasing overdue payments Processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier statements Assisting with payment runs and general purchase ledger duties Raising sales invoices and credit notes Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month end processes Perform other monthly adhoc task, assist with annual external audit and general finance administration Work collaboratively across finance and operational teams Company benefits: 32 days annual leave Statutory Pension Life Assurance Medicash scheme Cycle to work scheme As much coffee as you can drink!
