Grid is looking for an HR Apprentice to join our team based in Stafford to complete a 2-year Apprenticeship (Level 3 in HR support).
This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.
You will work closely with the HR team and partner with us to improve employee engagement, culture, and talent management, collaborating with people leaders, employees, and cross-functional teams.
You will play a vital part in making us better.

Job Responsibilities
During your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact. Assignments will vary across different businesses in Stafford, providing challenging and rewarding experiences. You will collaborate on exciting projects with talented peers and top HR professionals.
Your apprenticeship will focus on specific HR areas, including:
* Supporting HR Managers as an additional point of contact for HR issues
* Generating ideas for employee engagement initiatives
* Working on innovative solutions to HR challenges
* Supporting GE volunteering, STEM events, and the NEXT Engineers Program
* Bringing fresh perspectives and contemporary ideas
* Supporting the recruitment process for apprentices, graduates, and hourly employees, including social media and employee referral programs
* Tracking and supporting overseas recruitment, immigration, and agreements
* Assisting with onboarding and induction for new hires
* Providing HR administrative support, including data management, attendance tracking, and reporting
* Supporting HR Managers with maternity, paternity, parental leave, and flexible working requests
* Assisting with integration projects for the upcoming spin-off
* Performing other administrative tasks as requested
* Maintaining confidentiality at all times
Qualifications and Requirements
* HR administration experience is advantageous
* Proficiency with MS Office applications
* Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

* Quick learner, able to work independently
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
