Role: NQ Family Solicitor
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

The Role
This is a varied family law position offering exposure to a broad range of privately funded family matters. You will be involved in:
* Managing a caseload of privately funded family law matters under supervision
* Assisting senior fee earners on more complex financial remedy and private law children cases
* Drafting applications, statements, and court documents
* Attending client meetings and providing clear, sensitive advice
* Supporting matters involving divorce, financial settlements, and children arrangements
* Liaising with courts, counsel, and third parties as required
* Assisting with negotiation and resolution of disputes where appropriate
You will benefit from structured supervision and a collaborative working environment, with early opportunities to develop your own client relationships.
About You
* Newly Qualified Solicitor (0-1 PQE)
* Experience in family law during training contract
* Strong communication and client care skills
* Able to demonstrate empathy, discretion, and professionalism
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Interest in developing a long-term career in family law
