Business Development Manager - Public Sector
Established over 20 years ago, our client is an award-winning provider of communication & document management solutions to public sector organisations (NHS Trusts) across the UK.
Having experienced consistent annual growth, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their sales team in sourcing new business opportunities alongside managing a set of existing NHS accounts across London and the Northern Home Counties.
This is a hybrid role comprised of home-based working and meeting with clients face to face across the territory.

Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of existing NHS Trusts across the designated territory, driving revenue growth within each account
* Grow account base across the region by identifying & prospecting opportunities for new business
* Manage the full sales cycle with prospective public sector accounts
* Build long-term relationships with all key stakeholders across both prospective & existing accounts, gaining a full understanding of their business needs
* Attend face to face meetings with clients across the territory
The Successful Candidate
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales
* Proven background in selling to public sector organisations - experience with the NHS is highly desirable
* Previous experience selling into the public sector or NHS (in any product or service area) is advantageous
* Software or SaaS sales is beneficial
* A track record of success in complex or technical solution sales
* Experience managing multi-level stakeholder negotiations is a strong plus
* Based in London or surrounding areas / northern home counties
