Alongside world-leading HVOR customers, Sensata is creating products that improve the performance, reliability, and cost of battery electric systems — and the next generation of trucks, buses, and stationary storage systems that use them. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and executing a portfolio of projects and programs for the organization. You will ensure that every aspect of the program is completed on time, within budget, and act as a liaison between project teams and key stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
1. Lead multiple project activities throughout their lifecycles to ensure completion within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives.
3. Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities.
4. Apply change, risk, and resource management techniques.
5. Resolve high-level scope issues.
6. Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
7. Ensure goals related to customer satisfaction and team performance are met.
8. Implement and manage changes to achieve project goals.
9. Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions.
10. Produce accurate and timely reports on program status throughout its lifecycle.
11. Analyze program risks.
Experience / Qualifications
* University degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks.
* Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
* Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
* Strong personal and professional ethics and integrity.
* Self-accountability for achieving goals and standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with all organizational levels, suppliers, and external customers.
Additional Leadership Responsibilities
* Lead a multi-functional global team in defining system and product roadmaps aligned with customer and business priorities.
* Define business cases for new opportunities.
* Implement product cost roadmaps in line with company priorities.
* Lead change management projects per customer and company requirements.
* Manage customer-facing projects.
* Oversee new technology development in the context of industry changes, especially in electric vehicles.
* Possess experience in automotive or fast-paced technology development environments, preferably with electric vehicle expertise.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity and functional safety requirements for automotive industry is desirable.
