This fixed-term contract role has arisen due to the progression of some of our team members and the ongoing success of the firm. Job description: Our Conflicts team, a collaborative group of 25 Assistants, Advisors, and Team Leaders, scrutinise conflict and confidential information issues in line with the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct 2019 and other regulations. As a BAU Conflicts Assistant, you'll be in the heart of the action. You'll work closely with the team, supporting the Advisors, the BAU Conflicts Manager, and General Counsel and Risk Lawyers to resolve conflict and confidential information issues. You'll be processing conflict search results, conducting legal and commercial analysis, and liaising with PAs, fee earners, partners, and GC&R on potential issues and general queries. Required profile: We're looking for someone with experience in dealing with conflict check processing or a strong knowledge of conflicts gained from a comparable legal role. You should have strong analytical and research skills, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office software.
