JOB ROLE
* Responsibility for their clinical team when other vets are not available
* Veterinary surgeon confident with most routine surgical cases
* Freedom to define your own position within the clinic ideally with a special interest
REQUIREMENTS
Quality of experience is more important than quantity but would expect a suitable candidate to have
* a minimum of 2 years experience in practice and the ability to manage chronic diseases
* Further qualifications are desirable but not essential
* Veterinary surgeon
* Experienced client care skills
* Ability to coach others in the veterinary team
* Surgical or medical certificate encouraged
THE DETAILS
* 4 day week (8.45am till 6:30pm) plus one in five
* Saturdays 9-12 am [open to 3-day week pro rata]
* Additional 1 in 5 rota for hospitalised patient care
* Emergency work OOH taken by Vets Now
* Starting salary £52,000.00
* VDS & RCVS membership fees included
