About the role

What you'll do
As Shop Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:
16. Carrying out preventative, routine and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shops
17. Ensuring all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working as effectively and efficiently as possible
18. Carrying out regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs and modifications
19. Ensuring machine downtime is minimised whilst repairs are carried out for a group of approximately 80 shops
About you
You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:
20. 17th Edition Electrician Qualification (ideally)
21. Significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvements
22. Good organisational skills
23. Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and carry out a varied workload in all trades, on both equipment and property
24. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential
25. Knowledge of Food Safety & SHE
26. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
27. Flexibility in working hours (as may be required to work different shifts each week or asked to work overtime)
28. IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
