Lecturer in Chemistry
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Halesowen College for a Lecturer in Chemistry. In this role, you will work towards and deliver effective learning, teaching and assessments that provides a high-quality experience to enthusiastic students who are passionate about the subject.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced individual, preferably a qualified teacher, to join a growing and popular Science department. The Science department is a large and diverse department with a range of courses including A Level Sciences, Level 3 Applied Science, Level 2 Applied Science, L1 Applied Science as well as successful Access to HE courses which is staffed by the Science Department. With a dedicated department with bespoke labs; the successful candidate will teach on a range subjects and courses which include our L1, L2 and L3 Vocational Applied Science courses on Chemistry units.
The College is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and will undertake an Enhanced DBS, safer recruitment vetting and online checks for all successful candidates. Successful candidates will get the opportunity to attain a professional teaching qualification as part of the role. This will include continuous professional development.
