Care Support Worker (Female Only) – Help People Live Their Best Lives Every Day
We are recruiting female Care Support Workers for an all‑women’s service, where the provision is covered by the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 1.
Responsibilities
At Peabody, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently, confidently and with dignity. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is compassionate, approachable and motivated to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.
You will support individuals with personal care, daily living tasks and health needs, while encouraging independence, choice and participation in hobbies and community activities. Building positive relationships with families, colleagues and professionals will be key, alongside maintaining safe, clean and comfortable living environments.
You will also be responsible for accurate record keeping and contributing to reviews, meetings and maintaining high standards of care and safety.
Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for someone with a caring and positive attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves working across a 24/7 rota including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts and bank holidays.
You should be organised, reliable and respectful of diverse needs and backgrounds. A satisfactory DBS check is required. Previous experience in care or support and relevant qualifications such as a Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 are desirable but not essential.
