Retail Media Manager – Ecommerce

Full Time: 3 days on the office which are based in Maidenhead
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Retail Media Manager – Ecommerce to lead the development and execution of retail media strategies across key European and US retail partners. This role sits at the intersection of ecommerce, shopper marketing, and media, working closely with local markets to drive incremental net sales growth both online and in-store.

The role
You’ll be responsible for planning, activating, and optimising retail media across major bricks-and-mortar and online retailers, ensuring media investment is aligned with broader commercial priorities and global playbooks.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing retail media activation plans across leading retailers (e.g. Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Bol.com, Rossmann and others)
* Creating and delivering Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with retailers and local markets to drive short-term sales uplift and long-term shopper engagement
* Partnering closely with local ecommerce and shopper marketing teams to align media investment with trading priorities
* Analysing and reporting on media performance and ROI, clearly connecting spend to sales growth and category performance
* Exploring offline retail media opportunities (digital screens, in-store activations, loyalty programmes) and integrating these with digital retail media for true omnichannel campaigns
* Collaborating with global markets to share best practice, develop metrics, and evolve the global retail media strategy
* Working closely with Digital Shelf and Ratings & Reviews teams to ensure product pages convert the traffic driven by retail media
Skills & experience
* 4–5+ years’ experience in digital commerce, shopper marketing, or media, ideally within FMCG / CPG
* Hands-on experience with retailer media platforms and tools (e.g. Amazon Ads, Tesco Media & Insight, Boots Media Group, Citrus, Criteo)
* Confident working across multiple markets, with experience navigating cultural and operational differences in Europe and the US
* Strong understanding of how media investment drives commercial outcomes
