Working from our office in Magherafelt, we are seeking a dedicated Internal Sales & Technical Support Advisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting both pre- and post-sales activities, combining technical expertise with customer-focused service. The successful candidate will assist customers, internal teams, and distributor partners in the specification, planning, installation, and troubleshooting of central vacuum and mechanical ventilation systems.
Full product and technical training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities include:
Internal Sales (NI, GB, and ROI Markets)
* Respond promptly to inbound sales enquiries and follow up consistently to convert leads into sales.
* Provide accurate product specifications and quotations to prospective customers and distributor partners.
* Prepare technical drawings detailing duct routes and unit placements.
* Advise customers undertaking DIY installations, offering clear guidance and best practices throughout the process.
* Deliver schematic support to customers and the distributor network.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
* Generate necessary sales documentation and collect payment for completed sales when required.
Technical Service & Support
* Deliver timely technical support to end-users and distributor partners via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
* Collaborate with suppliers for advanced technical assistance when needed.
* Work closely with internal teams to escalate and resolve service issues efficiently.
* Log and manage customer service cases in the CRM, ensuring effective tracking of service requests, escalations, and resolutions.
Additional Duties
Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Board of Directors or ManagementTeam in alignment with the evolving needs of the business.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 years sales / business development experience selling to the construction sector;
* Have a positive, confident perspective with excellent communication skills
* Have excellent telephone skills
* Be self-motivated and have proven ability to work on own initiative and respond to challenges in a positive and persistent manner.
* Be computer literate
* Be target driven
* Sales experience of technical products (advantageous)
* Experience with CRM Systems (advantageous)
* Experience of CAD / drawing systems (advantageous)
