Acting as a trusted advisor on people insight and reporting, you will coach and advise the HR team on accessing, analysing, and interpreting colleague data, while designing and building new data products based on customer specifications. Who you are As an Analyst (HR) at Sainsbury's, you are a numerate and analytical professional with a passion for data analysis and a keen eye for detail. With a background in mathematics, statistics, or a related field, coupled with experience in manipulating and integrating large complex data sets, you possess the ability to extract valuable insights and present them in a clear, concise manner to a diverse range of stakeholders. Essential Criteria Demonstrable experience using SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis - candidates must show practical application of these tools in a professional setting. Proven ability to work with large, complex data sets - including manipulation, integration, and analysis to produce actionable insights. Evidence of stakeholder engagement in a large organisation - including managing expectations and translating business requirements into analytical outputs. Ability to apply statistical or quantitative techniques to solve business problems - demonstrated through project work, reporting, or insight generation.
