Teaching Assistant Salary: £18,700 to £19,450 per annum
HLTA salary: £22,150 to £24,550 per annum
Criteria for HLTA : Relevant NVQ3/CACHE level 3 - Supporting teaching and learning in Schools (or equivalent)

Hexagon Care Services are the largest privately owned provider of residential childcare in the country. We have over 50 Children’s Homes, 5 Crisis Intervention services, and 14 trauma informed schools across England.
The Poplars School is a brand new, specialist day school registered for up to 5 students. We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant with the experience and knowledge to develop and implement an outstanding curriculum with the ability to inspire and lead others.
At KS2 and KS3 the school will offer a broad and balanced education in line with the national curriculum. At KS4 the school will offer a range of accreditation including ASDAN, Entry Level and Functional Skills. There is the option to study GCSEs for the more academically able students.
Previous experience working as a teaching assistant/higher level teaching assistant is essential, and experience of supporting ASD people or working in a secondary school is advantageous for this role. If you enjoy working with small pupil numbers, supporting with a mixture of academic and practical/vocational subjects and have share a passion for supporting young people we want to hear from you!
The successful post-holder will have the passion and vision to develop and deliver high quality education. The school will work in close partnership with other professionals to provide a holistic package of support which may also include children living in care and accessing therapeutic support.
