Job Description
My client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and support advanced network and security solutions for a wide range of enterprise customers. You’ll act as a subject matter expert across Cisco and Fortinet technologies, ensuring secure, reliable and high-quality service delivery.
This is a hybrid working role – 3 days a week in office (Belfast City Centre)
The client also has a similar Senior Network Engineer role open based in Craigavon.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and support network and security solutions (LAN/WAN/WLAN/SASE/Data Centre).
* Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers.
* Review solution designs and ensure best practice and compliance.
* Optimise network performance and deliver high-quality documentation.
* Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams.
* Engage with customer stakeholders and provide clear technical communication.
* Maintain and pursue relevant certifications.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Cisco CCNP/CCSP or equivalent practical experience.
* Fortinet certification (FCA/FCP/FCCS/FCX) or equivalent experience.
* Strong expertise in WAN technologies, firewalls, IPS, SASE, ZTNA, LAN/Wi-Fi, and data centre networking (Cisco ACI).
* Experience supporting enterprise or government customers (4+ years).
* Excellent documentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
