<div><p>Keeping our armed forces running smoothly as a medical officer.</p><p>As a medical officer for the Capita Recruiting Partnership Project (RPP), you’ll be carrying out efficient medical screenings, appeals and approvals at our Army Assessment Centre. By ensuring the right candidates pass assessment, you help to build lifelong careers in the army and contribute directly to our national security effort.</p><p>This is a part‑time role working Monday and Tuesday and one Saturday per month, based at our Assessment Centre in Pirbright.</p><h3>Job Title</h3><p>Part Time Medical Officer (Dr)</p><h3>What you’ll be doing</h3><ul><li>Conduct face‑to‑face medical assessments, paperwork screening and appeals for Soldier and Officer candidates.</li><li>Assist with coaching clinical staff to meet productivity, quality and outcome measures.</li><li>Act as deputy for the lead medical doctor during absences.</li><li>Assist with the first‑level appeal process and maintain appeals within agreed service standards.</li><li>Maintain GMC registration, licence to practise, accreditation and skill mix.</li></ul><h3>Essential Qualifications and Skills Required</h3><ul><li>Fully GMC qualified medical practitioner with licence to practise, without restriction.</li><li>IT literacy and experience with Microsoft programmes.</li><li>Excellent organisational skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively and efficiently to tight deadlines.</li><li>Effective communicator in person and on paper.</li></ul><h3>About Capita RPP</h3><p>At Capita RPP, we’re transforming the British Army’s recruitment service.
