Your new role
You will join the Property underwriting team, working as part of a close-knit and experienced function. The role will involve underwriting a portfolio of property risks across a varied account, supporting broker relationships and contributing to the profitable growth of the portfolio. This opportunity is ideal for someone who haspleted their CII training and is ready to step up into a more autonomous underwriting role. You would have experience within an MGA,posite or Broker) alongside exposure to Property underwriting or, alternatively,e from a broker background with strong liability experience. You would already have experience in writing UK Property mercial) or Real estate risks and would have dealt withplex UK risks – being both renewal and new business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience working within the insurance market and have exposure to property underwriting, or alternativelye from a broker background with relevant Property experience. You will have gained exposure to property underwriting, or alternativelye from a broker background with relevant property experience. Ideally, you will havepleted the Cert CII or an equivalent entry‑level professional qualification. You should be confidentmunicating with brokers and internal stakeholders alongside being able to build strong working relationships. You will demonstrate a proactive attitude,mercial awareness and a desire to continue developing your underwriting skillset.
