Are you a strategic yet hands-on marketer with a flair for storytelling and digital engagement? We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for a specialist contractor delivering complex engineering and construction projects across the UK. In this role, you’ll shape the organisation’s profile as a trusted partner for challenging infrastructure projects, ensuring its expertise is visible to clients, communities, and industry peers.
What we’re looking for
* Proven B2B marketing experience (construction, engineering, or professional services preferred)
* Strong writing skills with the ability to turn technical detail into engaging stories
* Confident in creating video and photography for marketing use
* Proficiency across LinkedIn, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), email marketing, and CRM systems
* Competence with design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
* Highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities with a proactive approach
Desirable extras
* Experience with tender/bid marketing in regulated industries
* Knowledge of SEO best practice, GA4, and Search Console
* CIM qualification or equivalent

* Proactive and curious, able to spot opportunities without waiting for briefs
* Comfortable moving between construction sites, client meetings, and office environments

* Developing and delivering content that showcases expertise – case studies, articles, guides, video, and photography
* Leading digital channels including LinkedIn, website, email campaigns, and SEO optimisation
* Driving measurable marketing outcomes with tools such as GA4, Microsoft Clarity, and CRM integrations
* Supporting business development through impactful bid, tender, and award submissions
* Coordinating exhibitions, trade shows, client events, and community engagement initiatives
* Managing budgets, suppliers, and external agencies to deliver effective campaigns
