Responsibilities
* Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
* Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
* Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
* Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising
* Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant
* No prior experience required, just a passion for healthcare and customer service
* A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to work well in a team or independently
* Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
Qualifications
* We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Hours: 39 hours per week, which includes alternate Saturdays
Contract Details
This is a fixed term Maternity Contract for 13 months, starting 11th May 2026. Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour depending on age (Trainee pharmacy assistant).
