About You
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, self-motivated and has a passion for providing excellent customer service.
As a team player with good communication skills, you are observant, proactive and meticulous to multitask alongside a diverse workforce under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Job Scope
Serve dine-in customers from start to finish, including but not limited to:
* Usher customers to their table
* Take food and drink orders
* Fulfil drink orders
* Serve plates and food
* Replenish cutlery
* Clear and prepare tables
* Closing duties: hoover, mop, clean menus, wash glasses etc.
* Ad hoc tasks/cleaning (usually to kill time on a quiet shift)
* On some Fridays and Saturdays: dish washing
Serve customers over the phone
* Answer phone calls for takeaways orders or table bookings
* Notify customers of their order status
* Handle customer complaints
Shifts
* Your availability on Fridays and Saturdays is a must
* Your shift can start anywhere between 5pm-7pm for a minimum of 3 hours
* Your shift may end up to midnight on busy nights - usually on Fridays and Saturdays, or when we have big parties
* We will try to have you come in around the same time and day every week, but some flexibility is expected
Training
* You will be given full training so do not worry if you do not have any prior experience. It is more important that you have a good attitude and are eager to learn
* At the start, we will ask you to come in on weekdays for training, but the goal is for you to be confident and independent enough to handle busy Friday/Saturday nights
